Safety. LMC profit over providing basics like QUALITY security detail, just a handful of reliable guest parking spaces, or filling the empty business space below our building to increase foot traffic. Hell, even putting a McDonald’s down in the empty shop space would have been better than 2 years of paying taxes on it. You really think Gap is about to buy shop space in blown out Downtown Oakland? LMC suits need to quit dreaming and help solve this neighborhood’s problems with the tools at their fingertips. LMC should stay profitable but just not be so greedy.

The noise and violence outside during the weekends, and the crazy high expense for parking, would give me pause.

The pool heater being broken. Hot tub dirty. Took forever to fix machine in gym. The 34th floor lounge is always locked. It’s the amenity we can look at but never use freely

For the location I would recommend, but I would also probably not recommend it for that reason too. It's steps away from. Bart, but the nightlife her can be a bit much.

I think the rental market has softened with the COVID closures, and access to amenities in the building has been either highly restricted or not available. Given the current situation, I think that the price is not reflective of the experience. However, I do think my feeling would be different if the amenities were available. The staff has been friendly and helpful and I have no complaints about their service level and follow through. Timing has made this a mixed bag.

I love living in this community and want others to love it too.

I think COVID presented very unique challenges so I'd like to get a better idea of how the building operates under "normal" circumstances.

Our leases are too high. They lied to us and told us the prices would never drop. Parking used to be 150/month now it's 350.

Too expensive, amenities are crap, management (not Amy but everyone above) is unphased about resident experiences

Amenities such as the pool and gym are the best part of the building and they have remained closed for over 5 months. The management staff could do things such as allow for reservations of the pool and gym during business hours, but they have not made any efforts to make this difficult time more enjoyable for the residents. It is very easy to allow for a safe reservations system which has been used at other properties. For the amount of rent tenants are paying, the management should make more efforts to accommodate.
Hi There,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback.

While we do understand the concerns, we are following Alameda county health order. The items listed above have not been approved by the county to reopen. Once the county lifts the restrictions, we will be happy to reopen the spaces for residents to enjoy once again.

Thank you again for the time and be well.

I have actively told people who asked me about this building to seek opportunities elsewhere. This building is the most expensive one in downtown and the lack of amenities, the misleading email responses from staff and the lack of maintenance are a huge problem. Every day it feels like things are going downhill

The management is not accommodating the whole covid crisis responsibly. A lot of other communities have lower rent or are offering discounts to adjust for the fact that we cant use amenites we are paying for. This tells me they dont really care about the residents and they will take your money any way they can.

I will be actively recommending against any LMC owned building.
