Tradewinds Hammocks is an income-restricted property. That needs to be considered before commenting on this property. A second consideration is that residents in the Florida Keys prioritize differently from most areas of the States. For example, my visit was only six months removed from the area being impacted by a major hurricane. Hurricanes are a priority.

The community itself was nice and clean. I wish I could have seen the inside of an apartment. The only thing that would make me not rent here would be the staff. I did not feel welcomed. I would not like to live somewhere where I would feel like a bother to the staff.

The community was low income housing. The property was well maintained and the staff was friendly and professional.

The apartment community seemed to be well maintained. It was a very good value for someone in the Keys looking for basic housing but had very few amenities.
