I lived there in 2013, having moved out after accepting a job offer outside the area.  I wouldn't recommend the complex or any other apartment community owned by Aimco Properties.  What you quickly discover is you will do things their way...period.  

- You will pay rent via their web portal...that's the only way.  Make sure before you hit "enter" that nothing has changed since last month.  If your bank account information has changed, etc., it could cost you an additional $75.  

- In the event that you encounter financial difficulty while you live there (lose your job, etc.), do not be late on your rent.  After two days, you'll start incurring late charges...big late charges.  After 10 days, you'll be paying "legal" fees that are equally outrageous...and you'll pay them even if you pay rent in full on the 10th day, and even though there were no real attorney costs incurred. 

- Check your water bill CLOSELY!  Each unit has a water meter.  The problem is they have no idea which meter goes to which unit.  My neighbor received a bill for 6 month's worth of water use...in addition to her regular water bill that she had already paid.  It could work in your favor too...the guy across the street didn't receive a bill for over a year!

It's all about fees with Aimco and Canterbury Green...it's not a matter of if you'll pay them, but when.
