This was the WORST apartment complex I have rented from in 11 states of the US. Tribute Properties should be put out of business. If you want a whole host of headaches with southern attitude instead of hospitality- then go ahead and rent here. The outside is covered in geese droppings. The office ladies think they do a great job when they move slower than molasses on everything that matters to a tenant: mail, maintenance, whatever you might need. However if your dog bark, they will take no issue with chastising you like you are a child. The will NOT return the security deposit and instead make of things that were already there or absurd excuses: like a parking sticker cannot be reused but return it or pay for it. Leaving trash (which was a case of beer that could have gone to someone) cost another $15 to have it removed. My dishwasher was broken for the entire 6 months, even though the maintenance man tried to "fix" it 3 times- it always leaked. Oh yes, and they regularly patrol for parking and end up mostly towing tenants cars....so beware. Even the tow truck company discounted me on this mishap because they felt badly, but tribute did NOT. They just told me " sorry you feel that way" I hope this makes it to the UNCW campus- please share with everyone you know that you will not be happy renting from Tribute. They are overpriced, under value, and a pathetic mentality of rip off. Plus, the cops show up at this complex almost every night. It's not in a nice area but you'll definitely pay like you're living in the Ritz.
