Poor Management

I have been living in at the Park Place apartments for a few months now. I have had several problems with the way the complex is managed. When I first moved in, they gave me incorrect keys to the apartment. They had to come and change the locks on the door because they could not find the correct key to give me. Once that was corrected, I discovered that I had also been given an incorrect mail box key. I went to the office to get the key that worked and was given four keys to try and told to throw the ones that didn’t work away. The next problem arose when the box to buzz people into the apartment didn’t work. I was told that my out of state area code was not compatible with their system. After that I went to collect a package that had been left for me in the office and was given the wrong package. I had to inform the office staff that they were not correct since I seemed to be the only one paying attention. The management team in the main office seems to be rather clueless about running an apartment complex. They also tend to say the will call you right back and never do. I feel like I am spending lots of time trying to keep them organized.
Along with the managerial problems, I have had a few problems with the maintenance staff. I had two leaks in the apartment in the few months that I have lived here. Once I reported them, it took them a week to come and assess the problems. Then it took them another month to come and start fixing the issues. One window they caulked three times, on three separate very spread out visits before it stopped leaking. The other leak required that they had to tear out the wall. So far it has been approximately one month of several people scheduling things and about half the time not showing up. I have been told that there are more important issues in the building, that people have called in sick and that they do not have the correct supplies. As far as I can tell, like the management of the apartments, they are totally lost and confused. I would not recommend moving here, please save yourself the trouble and frustration. I intend to leave as soon as I can.
