The place is descent to live in, but since the new management they nickle and dime each and everything. When I lived there, I had to request for repairs of some things in my apartment almost 3-4 times before someone came to fix it. I leaved in the apartments for almost 2 years, when I moved out, I took my key to the office and they said we did have to do a walk through so I trusted them and left the keys. Two weeks after moving out I received a hefty bill for cleaning the bathroom, cleaning ceiling fans, cleaning refrigerator and kitchen appliance, there was an additional charges of 1,378.34 included that I could not figure out where it was coming from. I leaved in that apartment for almost two years, granted there was some wear and tear from the leaving, but apparently they want the apartment to be exactly as it was when you moved in, you cannot cook on the stove or anything. I did the standard cleaning, and it looked descent but leaved in when I moved out. When I called Esmaralda Garcia to ask about the charges, she said that the apartment should be exactly like you found it, when you leave. So if you are planning to live on the apartment, especially for longer than a year, you have to be careful, because you will be charged heftily for the normal wear and tear. I have lived in different apartments in Houston when my kids were younger, and they were harder on the carpet and they walls, but I have never been charged extra nor my deposit held until this last time. I would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone, there are far more descent apartment around the area.
