While I've enjoyed my time living at The Pointe in New Town I don't think I would chose to live here again. There are a few things to know before living here:

1. They are just apartments. On the outside the buildings look a little nicer than average but ultimately they are still extremely cheap. You can literally listen to your neighbors conversations, not to mention alarm clocks, through the walls.
2. Breaking the lease will cost you thousands. You have to give 60 day notice, pay a months rent and pay back any "incentives" you receive while renting.
4. They use the term "month to month" but you have to give 60 days notice so it should really be "months to months"
5. Even with the premium rent the apartments do not come with a microwave.
6. The complex reams you when it comes time to renew the lease. My monthly rate went up a "modest" amount of $300.
7. The leasing agents will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign. I was told I could paint walls and it wouldn't cost anything when I left. When signing the lease I was told I could paint but I would have to pay to have the walls repainted. The agent also conveniently forgot to include all of the concessions I was told I would get when signing. We had to go back through each one. Watch out, it's a scam.
