Nice Environment
I lived in Polo Glen for one solid year. Loved the place. Beautifully landscaped!
Beautiful apartment. However, this is not the place if you have small children 3 and under! We lived in upstairs apartment. We recvd continuous complaints from neighbors below about the footprints of our 19 month old. Security was constantly knocking on door, letters were often left on the door as a result of this. Our 19 month old never walked..she always ran. How do you tell a 19 month to walk and not run and they understand it? This wearied us.
We put in our 60 day notice Without already having a new place to stay--we were just that tired of it!!!
If yu have small children do not take an upstairs apartment! Obviously the place was not soundly built nor well insulated, because when our neighbor below us closed his front door(which was directly under my living room) it sounded like someone was taking out the whole side of the house..so noise is a problem.
The parking a problem. Neighbors think because a parking spot is near their door, that parking stall belongs to them.
Also, we noticed several times doing our stay that the gate wasn't working. This means it was left unattended, and anyone had access to the apartments, during this time. I might add they did seem to always repair the gate and in an timely fashion.
Lastly, the ghost ant! These drove us crazy, s they were everywhere and in everything including food. Could not get rid of them! Exterminators came numerous times--to no avail. Could not get rid of those darn creatures! I thought when I moved they would migrate with us---thank God they didn't!
After Polo Glen, we decided that apartment-style living just wasn't for us.
So we moved into a house, which we absolutely love, and are extremely happy now. The kids have a huge backyard with commercial play equipment, and everyone is happy. Our new landlord is the sweetest.
Let me add this, when we moved to Polo Glen the girl working there was so friendly and nice. Not long after we were moved in she was gone! The business manager Lynn is not the nicest person, in fact she could be a better professional if she had some additional training in customer service. She was another reason, we believed we would be happier elsewhere.
We took the chance, and did moved. Our place is very nice, with privacy fence, backyard, and all. Polo Glenn is a bit pricey. For 3 bedrooms2baths plus much more, we are saving close to $400 per month. We are retired military, and we also wanted to be closer to the base. Now we are less than 10 mins away.

Whenever new member in-process and ask what places would I recommend i always say Polo Glen. It would be nice if they had a referral program :)

Anytime I have visitors, I always receive positive feedback and many times they say they feel like they are on a resort.

I love Polo Glen. I only have one complaint. I feel each unit should have at least 1 assigned parking space. It is uncomfortable to walk in the dark at night to my complex when the spaces close by are full. One night I had to walk 4 buildings down. Other than that I love it here :)

I would only suggest living here if they took a top floor or were okay with noise.

Given the increase in rent prices I would encourage someone to look for a rental house.

I think that the apartments are more expensive than what I can afford. It is also a lot further from the base than I thought.

I believe that some of the residents are not properly screened. there seems to be more people in apts. that are on the leases. There is no one checking the pool area's at night and on weekends to see if residents are abusing pool priveledges, or whether uninvited visitors are using the pool area at night
