The rent is too high considering there are no amenities that stand out in comparison to other apartments. I like my apartment and it’s nice, but for how much I am paying, it is small and there is not even a coat closet or balcony.

No, I wouldn’t recommend anyone living here because each year they’ll have to be faced with moving due heavily increased rental rates.

The building has been built with sub-par materials. I hear every noise from the diner, every siren on West St., barking dogs, and stomping neighbors. The hallways always smell like weed and things are in constant disrepair. I always tell people to not move here and I think you grossly over charge for what you offer.

The building has become dirty and rundown. Pet friendly but no room for pets.

I love the Maris, the personnel, the amenities - everything! It has become my home, which I needed after a divorce and a move. I cannot say enough good things about the Maris!

I certainly would recommend the apartment community to a friend who does not have a dog. It is a great, almost new building with great people working here. However, if my friend had a dog unfortunately I would not be as likely to recommend the community because there is a real problem with other dog owners not picking up their dogs' waste outside and even in the garage right by the entrance doors. Management is aware and sent a message to residents (thank you), but I don't see the existing waste ever picked up by a service, as I have seen at other buildings. It just accumulates and makes it hard to walk my dog. I have not had the opportunity to speak with the staff about this idea, but I would be glad to pay another dollar or two in pet rent each month to fund such a service. Please consider this option. I love the building, but it's been unpleasant to walk my dog on the property for the last 2-3 months. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

Overpriced. People who live here are rude. The office lies and is of no help.
