Apartment Review from a Current Renter

The amenities are great but the apartments a loud. No control during the week days for loud music and kids playing late at night
We take noise complaints very seriously and want to make sure all Residents are being respectful to reasonable noise levels. That being said, we understand that our community lives in close proximity to one another and that some noise is tolerable. Our courtesy patrol is also assisting in the enforcement. For any noise issues please feel free to contact the leasing office or courtesy patrol after hours so we can address it immediately.

It is nice and I like the park areas .
The community at Greenfield Village Apartments has beautiful amenities and we are happy to hear that our Residents enjoy them. Our landscapers do an amazing job at keeping the park areas looking beautiful. We really enjoy seeing the Community out and about making use of all that Greenfield Village Apartments has to offer.

When we first looked into the apartments, it seemed very well maintained and the tenants seemed very respectful. Since then, we have had problems with past tenants and the place is just trashy. People curb their dogs in the garages and in front of the office. We even found poop in the stairwells. It was in there for a couple of days. This place is very disappointing.
Greetings Steve,

The Community rules and their enforcement are taken very seriously. We are conducting property walks throughout the day to ensure policies are being enforced. After hours our on-site Courtesy Patrol also responds and can be reached direct at (619) 579-1660.

As far as pet waste in concerned, we have installed additional pet stations throughout the community in an effort to alleviate waste and walk the property throughout the day to take care of any missed areas. If there is ever an area we’ve missed please let us know so we may quickly respond.

I'd also like to invite you to come in and speak with a Manager to go over your concerns. You may reach me at 619-661-8108 or via email at greenfield@rvmcorp.com to set up a convenient time to meet and discuss any concerns you may have.

The parking situation for town homes is inadequate. You can't fit 2 cars in the garage. There are over 100 empty parking spots in the parking lot. The town homes should get one assigned spot in addition to their garage spot.

The halls are dirty, the mail room, the trash cans are filled up for days, no one will recommend that.
Dear Oscar,

We are striving towards keeping the community you call home clean and beautiful. We have added additional Porters to our staff and work closely together to ensure no area is disregarded. We have increased trash pickup service and added additional recycle trash cans to our trash rooms to keep trash bins from overfilling. We have also recently completed a property wide power wash to help us with additional care and we will continue to address these needs as they come. For areas that may need our additional attention, please reach out and let us know.

Parking. No matter the time I shouldn't have to worry about being able have guest over and not being able to find parking. Suggestion would be to assign one additional parking space to the individuals that line in the town homes. I would pay extra for that. Or add additional guest slots on Surfrider Way.
Christopher,
We understand that visitor parking can sometimes be difficult to find here at Greenfield Village. In an effort to provide our Residents with first priority to parking, our visitor spaces are limited to the front entry and rear entry to the community. The Visitor spaces are marked, require permit and have time restrictions to ensure all Resident visitors have an opportunity to utilize spaces. There is also ample street parking available just steps away from our rear community entrance.

I would recommend to maintenance to be a better way to contact them directly and be able to schedule appointments instead of whenever they can make it.

Parking should be all open parking for guests like the old management had it. Currently there are about 10 visitor parkings for total of 7 buildings. Permit parking should only be for underground parking or available for an extra fee for an extra space.

Cost is high.

Overall the day I moved into the property it was great but since then the feeling of calling this place home has gone down. Kids run ramped with no adult supervision, they destroy the amenities around the complex and aren't held to answer for it so the rest of the residents have to suffer with broken or destroyed equipment/ recreational areas. The security onsite only have limited powers and the kids that are around here know that so they show no respect to the property or authority figures. The adults or visitors of residents take up parking spots with no refused for the residents who live here. The pool areas are always being vandalized and the cleaning staff forced to clean up after the vandals and kids that are committing those acts. Time and time again the the garbage area regardless of signs posted are constantly being trashed and not cleaned up. The elevators are constantly getting stuck on certain floors and nothing being done to correct the problem. The stairwells sometimes smell of foul odors and writing all along the walls. The security system in the doors and gates are constantly being violated with no one held responsible or advised to stop. The rules and regulations as to what we can and can't have on our patios is by far the most outrageous thing I've ever heard. On a positive note when the office staff is in they're the most helpful group of personnel I've seen here in a long time.
Greetings Daevon,

Thank you for your kind review of our office team. I am going to pass along your compliments to our Property Manager, Brandy. I will also personal deliver your comments to our team.

Although the staff is nice the grounds keeping is terrible the residents leave trash everywhere the garbage chutes are never used instead people deem it necessary to drop their trash off in front of the chute filling up the small room with bags on top of bags. Residents let their dogs defficate in the stairwells I have found this numerous times.
