Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The quality of the decor for the leasing office was above average, but disappointing. The agent told me about the remodeling they were going to do to the clubhouse and other areas. That would make a good impression.

Overall a great place to live

The apartments themselves are very nice and sufficient. The parking can be kind of a hassle if you do the public parking because there are very limited spots with the amount of people that live in the complex. The staff is always helpful, the pool area is fun in the summer, and the amenities are great overall. I would recommend this place. I am in a two person and split payments and the expenses aren't that bad. I have heard that a one person place can be pretty pricey, but they are nice.

It's a great property to live in.

I just came here to ask that you actually allow us to view our bill breakdown online. I can't seem to find a break down of how much I owe this month for rent, trash, sewage, and utilities.. Seems like that should be standard. I know I get a bill in the mail, but having it online is much more convenient.

Parking and Noise is terrible

Living at the City Place at Westport is quite an experience. You will very rarely find parking in the actual lot, especially if you have to work late. The noise level is extremely high, I heard my neighbors all the time had many restless nights due to this. Maintenance was fine. When I first moved in, the apartment was not ready for us to move in at all and therefore we had to wait another week to have everything fixed, but once it was completed everything looked great. Location is the main selling point of the apartment and it is extremely nice to walk to restaurants and bars. Just be weary of living on the 1st and 2nd floor for noise and try to get in a building that has easy access to street parking and many available parking spots.

I love and value City Place Apartments

It is great, convenient, and fun.

I thought the community was updated and inviting. When I first arrived, I drove thru noting several people outside walking their dogs. I enjoyed the clubhouse and the amenities that came with it. The coffee bar was something that I would use and appreciate. The only thing that bothered me was the additional $25 one time fee for parking.

Good place to live

Great location, good amenities, parking could be better.

Get a top floor apt

The complex is great, except you can hear every single step the person living above you takes. Staff is friendly and maintenance is addressed quickly.

expensive but good location

It's been a nice place to live. It can get a little noisy and the parking is terrible, but its a great location in the city.

Apartment Review from an Independent Evaluator

The community was beautiful. Everything from the underground parking, to the beautiful amenities, to the gated side entries to the building were perfect. The agents were well versed and were eager to help and that in itself was great.

Not bad, but could be better

Overall, it is a very nice complex and great for college students and new grads. The location next to Westport is convenient to go to the bars or for eating out. However, the price is high for what you end up getting. Firstly, you will hear every single step your above neighbor takes and it sounds like sometimes they are stomping and the ceiling is going to give out. Haven't slept well in months due to this. Heat insulation isn't great either, expect high utility bills compared to other residences in the area. Also the finishes are all cheap and fake all laminate . Also the refrigerator and dish washer look to be 10 years old. The workout room is also very dated with old equipment that only works part of the time, used it once and never went back. The business office with computers and a printer also seems to always be in repair and never usable. Also, when they asked if I wanted to renew my lease, my rent was raised 40 month for literally no reason.

Friendly and well kept

This is a great place to live. Centrally located in a large entertainment district of KC with great amenities of its own. The people are friendly and helpful. Activities take place throughout the year. Grounds are very well kept and maintenance is timely and professional.

Great place to live

Very nice place to live. Pet friendly walking environment. Community pool area. Very friendly office staff.

Great location and a fun place to live

It was fun, great location, excellent residents.

Not worth the money

Except for service of Alaina I believe I may have misspelled her name , hands down the worst place I've ever rented from.
Over priced and cheaply made, it was like living in a frat house. I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors did.
In two and a half months, I had a leak in the ceiling, the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom would come up when I walked across them, and my apartment flooded due to a busted pipe two floors above me.
The complex PURPOSELY has insufficient parking so to greedily extort more money from its residents for garage parking.
After all that, Lincoln properties charged me a 1500 termination fee because my job moved me and I had to relocate. The worst run and managed apartment I've ever had the unfortunate
I would never recommend this, or any Lincoln property to anyone I know.
