Moved in with many things broken that have never been fixed. Round the clock floor repairs on the unit above me. Hallways are severely outdated and gross feeling. Cabinetry in the units is beyond cheap and flimsy.

Love the concierge staff and the office and maintenance staff respond quickly to any needs.

too much construction noise at times can lead to an uncomfortable living situation, especially now that most of us are working-from-home.

The ability to have guest join residents at the amenities

maybe higher after the guest policy changes.

Great staff but closed amenities without concession

the pool generally is a free for all each summer, most of the people using the pool do not live here. the closets for clothes are generally too small. walk-ins or more space should really have been considered for the 1beds.

Excellent staff (in all areas - from maintenance to management), great opportunities to make real friendships with others, a community feeling, beautiful shared amenities (pool, common room, sky deck, gym).

I moved here from the Millennium up the street and have been disappointed when comparing Skyhouse to Millennium (now Camden.) I don't like the parking garage being detached. I don't like how long I always have to wait on elevators. I don't like that Skyhouse doesn't have a dogpark. The quality of fixtures/appliances/common areas is much higher at Camden.
Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience at SkyHouse. We are sorry you are frustrated with the parking garage and elevators here. Living in a high-rise community comes with a multitude of perks, including rooftop amenities and stunning views. To reach those rooftop amenities, the elevators can take a few moments especially during peak morning and after-work time frames, and we apologize for any frustration this may have caused. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, I would be happy to speak with you directly. You can reach me at 512-961-6968 or SkyHouse@SimpsonHousing.com; thank you again for your time and feedback.

Great staff!

The staff are the main reason- Austin is full of new luxury apartment buildings with pools and gyms but having such awesome people working in the building really make it special. Special shout out to Chance and David.

I would not recommend to an established professional. Unless the demographic has changed in the past 3 months. I experienced a handful of disrespectful millennials who used the building as if it was a dorm (no shoes/shirt in elevators and loud in the hallways in the middle of the night.

I would recommend to younger friends but not to friends my age or older.

Location to trail and water, staff, amenities, and community of neighbors.

It's too loud to live here anymore. It was fun when I was going out a lot, but now when I come home, I want to go home to a relaxing and quiet environment, not when where I can hear bands outside every night and where everyone is drunk on the weekends.
