The price is high but the location is great, the staff are nice. The property is well maintained and there's been a lot of really fun events lately. It's been great to have these opportunities to do something different and engaging in the community

I recommend The Matisse to any people I meet who are interested in living in the South Waterfront area. Ive loved living here, it feels safe, other tenants are friendly, and the commute for any OHSU employees is ideal!

It is way too loud to live in these apartments from heavy walking to doors slamming, way too noisey!

It is a lovely community with well kept common areas. The units are very nice, but livability depends a lot on the neighbors around you and their respectfulness of you.

I would not recommend this apartment complex because it is not my job to fill this building for you.
At the overpriced rent you charge you should be so full you are turning people away. If I need to recommend people to this complex to fill up the available apartments then my rent should be cheaper.

Nearby restaurants and grocery stores are non-existent. The price is high for what you are getting compared to other apartments in the area. We've recently seen 3 brand new apartments in the area with more amenities, equivalent building standards (LEED certified), with much better rent prices.

The apartments are decent and it a relatively quiet area of the city. The streetcar stop is very convenient and the staff is great.
